California-based Navan, the business travel and expense platform, has integrated BoomPop’s event management capabilities into its Meetings & Events platform, adding AI-powered venue sourcing and event planning tools.
The integration allows planners to source venues from a curated marketplace, manage agendas, negotiate contracts and track room blocks within a single platform. It also combines real-time travel and expense data with venue costs to give finance teams visibility of total event spending.
“Companies spend billions on Meetings & Events every year, yet the infrastructure for event planning remains fragmented,” said Galen Grady, senior vice-president and general manager of Meetings & Events at Navan. “Most companies remain trapped in a web of emails and spreadsheets, a time-consuming process that results in a poor experience for high-stakes events like sales kickoffs and team offsites.”
The platform includes customisable event webpages for sharing details and agendas, RSVP tracking, and unified itineraries showing all bookings including flights, trains, cars and hotel room blocks.
Navan has facilitated nearly 85,000 events through its group travel solution, with 30,000 occurring in 2025 alone. Until now, room blocks and venue sourcing remained manual processes.
