AUSTRALASIA – Australia’s Dockside Group has used its attendance at the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo 2014 (AIME) to announce a new Sydney venue built on a floating pontoon.

Alongside its corporate rebrand, the custom-designed Dockside Pavilion Darling Harbour is set to become a “world-class event and entertainment destination and an iconic feature of the harbour-side landscape”, according to Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Beverley Parker.

Catering for up to 1,400 seated guests and 2,000 standing, Dockside Pavilion has already received interest and bookings from business and association representatives.

“We are working hard to ensure Sydney remains top of mind during this period of change,” said Parker.

Dockside Group has appointed international hospitality professional, Mike Sarino, to the newly created position of Director of Sales and Events.
