Kirsten Harms has been appointed the new head of Human Resources at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, effective 1 August 2021. In her new position she will lead a team of five and report to CFO Uwe Fischer. Harms has a Master’s degree in social economics. In her most recent position as HR manager at ECE Projektmanagement G.m.b.H & Co. KG, she was in charge of all HR-related matters of a business unit with more than 300 employees. Harms had previously worked as director human resources at Blue Orbit AG, and as a recruiter at Zobel & Partner International. Uwe Fischer said: “We are pleased to have recruited a highly competent and experienced HR leader who will help us address the growing complexity of our human resources challenges effectively. We wish her all the best for a good start and a successful career at HMC.”
