New partnership gives Kenes Group a foothold in UAE and Oman

International Professional Conference Organiser (PCO), Kenes Group, has announced a new partnership with 1001 Events, which will see Kenes represented in the Middle East. The group, founded in Tel Aviv in 1965, has recently added three new offices to bolster its presence in the EMEA: in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat.

Kenes says the Middle East events scene, after a decade of fast growth, is now setting world standards when it comes to infrastructure, customer service and knowledge development across sectors. Kenes says a development strategy of building strong knowledge hubs, and working hand in hand with policy-makers to make different kinds of events possible, and to allow more people to enjoy the destination, has proven successful.

1001 Events has 50 years’ experience planning events globally. “Collaborations such as this, have become the foundation of our industry, yielding wonderful results to both companies, and allowing us to grow in new ways. What further attracted us to the Middle East is the culture of collaboration and the strong knowledge hubs established there,” said Marlies Steinebach, Kenes’ global director of business development.

“We have already been working in the Middle East, bringing events to the region such as the 7th International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders in the Middle East (ICADME), and in 2019, we are bringing the annual World Congress of Neurology (WCN), and more are in the planning, also in the GCC region,” commented Sadik Caglar, vice-president Middle East at Kenes.

Agnelo Fernandes, regional ,anager Middle East and CEO of 1001 Events, added: “We are very proud to become a part of Kenes and be able to showcase our relationship as a good practice for the industry to follow because, in the events industry behind each successful event, there is a solid and dependable partnership that seeks to deliver excellence.”

In the past months, Kenes has announced expansions in Latin America and Asia Pacific.
