NürnbergMesse outlines new events as it breaks turnover record

The two CEOs of the NürnbergMesse Group, Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, have announced a record turnover of 275m Euros. “The foundation of this record turnover is our classic core business – namely trade fairs, exhibitions and congresses, in Nuremberg just as much as worldwide”, said Ottmann. Fleck announced an innovation and investment offensive: “In 2017, we will be launching ten new events, from Nuremberg via São Paulo to Mumbai, from Shanghai to Milan. At the same time, the construction of Hall 3C, the key investment next year, is currently on time and on budget.” The organisation will host premier events including MT-CONNECT (medical technology, June 2017), U.T.SEC (unmanned technologies and security, March 2017) and Net.Law.S (law, society and industry in the digital world, February 2017). In addition, the construction of the new Hall 3C is currently on schedule and on budget, it was revealed. “We are thus optimistic about commissioning our new jewel in the third quarter of 2018,” added Fleck.
