Visit Norway is inviting event organisers to participate in a ‘Norwegian love quiz’ in the run up to Valentine’s Day, with a chance to win a long weekend for two in the country’s capital. However, our friends in the fjords are not just focusing on romantic love, but love in its wider sense. The national CVB tell us that, after such a difficult year for our industry, it is time to have some fun.  “We, at Visit Norway want to engage with our customers in a positive, fun way. With Valentine’s Day coming up we decided to spread a little love with a quiz (conducted via Kahoot!). Participants not only learn what and how Norwegians love, but they also have a chance to win a long weekend in Oslo for two people. The draw will take place on the 11 February, just in time for the winner to present a colleague, friend or romantic partner, with a lovely surprise on Valentine’s Day!” Check out this Visit Norway web page here for full details. Norway’s capital Oslo is a cosmopolitan hub with an abundance of world-class architecture, museums, restaurants and cool venues. It is often described as the ‘Blue and Green with the capital in between’, as it is located by the Oslo fjord and surrounded by forested hills. Delegates can have a meeting in the morning, head for activities in nature in the afternoon and be back in the city centre for a special dinner in the evening. Oslo | Capital of Norway | Hotels, things to do (visitnorway.com) Photo courtesy of VisitOslo: The new Munch museum that opened last March and which can be used for events.
