Ottawa will host INCYBER Forum Canada from 1-3 December 2026. The event will take place at Rogers Centre Ottawa, with pre-events in Gatineau.
The forum is expected to attract around 4,000 delegates and generate more than 5,000 room nights, while organisers estimate $5.4m (CAD) in economic impact for the region.
INCYBER focuses on cybersecurity and AI safety and brings together government, industry and research leaders. Delegates include security agencies, military, law enforcement, technology firms and SMEs – alongside researchers and cyber specialists working on practical responses to emerging threats.
The event previously took place in Montréal. The move to Ottawa reportedly reflects the forum’s push for wider national engagement, as organisers seek stronger links with federal decision-makers and security institutions based in the capital.
“Hosting INCYBER Forum Canada is a major international win for Ottawa,” says Stephanie Seguin, vice-president, Business & Major Events. “This event will deliver meaningful economic benefits while showcasing our strengths to international delegations, innovators and decision-makers.”
Organisers cited Ottawa’s concentration of national institutions and technology companies as key factors.
The programme will combine conferences, workshops and technical sessions.
A trade show will feature cybersecurity suppliers and solution providers.
Delegates will also attend executive exercises, live demonstrations and technical visits, alongside networking and B2B meetings designed to connect international and domestic organisations.
Ottawa Tourism led the bid, working with Invest Ottawa, Rogers Centre Ottawa and local hotels.
The partners coordinated accommodation planning, venue availability and government engagement to secure the event.
INCYBER Forum Canada is expected to draw delegates from across Canada, North America and international markets.
