The Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala 2024 took place in Katowice on 21 March, hosted at the historic Walcownia Zinc Rolling Mill. This event, a collaboration between the Polish Tourism Organisation, Polish Conference and Congress Association, and the Silesia Convention Bureau, honoured the 2022 and 2023 Polish Congress Ambassadors who work to highlight Poland’s appeal as a prime location for international conferences and congresses. Adam Wawoczny and Rafał Szmytke, leading figures from the Silesian and Polish Tourism Organisations, emphasised the event’s significance in promoting Poland and the essential role of collaboration across various sectors in enhancing the country’s economic standing through international events. The gala also saw contributions from partners Dream Events Poland and Catering24, alongside a cultural performance by the Stanisław Hadyn’s Song and Dance Ensemble ‘Śląsk’, underscored the region’s potential and cultural richness.
