The 5th Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW) 2019, organisers are hoping, will impart momentum to developing the country’s business event tourism sector. Organised by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), MBEW 2019 will take place on 28 August at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur under the theme, ‘Progressive Momentum’. Last year, Genting Highlands hosted the 4th edition of MBEW, recording 175 participations comprising delegates from the industry, association, academician, government and media partners. Organisers this year promise “an array of speakers” and an “interactive programme”. MBEW 2019 coincides with the World Tourism Conference (WTC) 2019, which will runs 26-28 August 2019.
