AUSTRALASIA – New faces have joined the Perth Convention Bureau team and other long term staff have seen expansion to their roles

Tracey Cinavas-Prosser is promoted to Director of Membership and PR and will be assisted by Jacqui Roberts.

“I am looking forward to the new challenges my expanded role will provide,” said Cinavas-Prosser, who added that new support staff engaged would better serve the bureau’s members.

Trish McKay is promoted to Director of Corporate Services, taking over from Jeremey Murray who left the company at the beginning of December. New recruit Arron Savage will have responsibility for the company accounts.

Executive Assistant Liz Wessels, PCB’s longest serving staff member, will take over the role of Company Secretary in addition to the support she currently offers the CEO and the Board.

In the New Year Antonia Santich joins as Marketing Coordinator role.

“It has been a very busy year for the Bureau,” said CEO Paul Beeson. “With the appointment of a new Marketing Coordinator in January we will have a full team who can help us deliver not only our targets but also ensure the smooth running of our membership and PR, marketing departments and also all of our administrative services.”

The PCB has also published the latest edition of its Meeting Planners Guide, a glossy and compact booklet with all the essential information for convention and event organisers.

“We’ve avoided the information over-load that has traditionally been included in past guides and pared everything back to a much more relevant and structured publication that planners don’t have to have done a weights program to carry with them,” said the Bureau’s Director of Marketing Anne Last.

This year’s guide features an expanded listing of venues and accommodation properties including all the major conference centres and hotel properties as well as unusual venues covering both Perth and regional Western Australia.
