Quebec City Convention Centre offers free high speed Wi-Fi

AMERICAS – The Québec City Convention Centre claims to be the first Canadian convention centre to offer free high-speed wireless Internet to all its delegates and throughout its entire facility.
 
An exclusive partnership with Québec telecoms company Vidéotron Business Solutions, has enabled the Centre to offer full, high-speed wireless Internet coverage up to the maximum capacity of each individual room, at no charge to clients.
 
“In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, Internet is essential. Many hotels, restaurants and public spaces offer free Internet access. We wanted to limit charges paid by our valued customers for something that is often free,” said Convention Centre CEO, P. Michel Bouchard (pictured). Attendees now have access to free high-speed wireless Internet for their personal use, no matter where they are in the Convention Centre,” he added.
 
The Québec City Convention Centre generates an average of CAN$80m per year in economic benefits for the region.
