California-based software company Quest Software reimagined its annual sales kickoff by turning the corporate gathering into a festival-style event at the Anaheim Hilton. To realise this vision, Quest partnered with Edgefactory, a creative content and production company which crafts immersive experiences. Inspired by festivals like SXSW and Coachella, Quest’s ‘NXT FY25’ event immersed 1,200 global employees in a weekend filled with professional development, team building, and unique experiences. The event featured a DJ session at ‘X-Fest,’ LED swings, live muralists, and even a ‘rage room’ where attendees smashed outdated tech.
Edgefactory curated over 100 unique print designs and motion digital signage, updated multiple times a day. Three fully produced general session rooms allowed for transitions between keynote presentations and interactive workshops. Edgefactory also created ‘NXT+’, an exclusive in-room TV channel that aired content throughout the event. The channel featured footage of attendee interactions, daily highlight videos and interviews with Quest executives, all produced within a 12-hour turnaround period. “This year, branding was more important than ever,” said an Edgefactory representative. “We wanted to showcase a visual story that immersed every attendee in a wash of creativity, while also celebrating their individual contributions to the company.”
