Ras Al Khaimah will host the 14th edition of the Exotic Wedding Planning Conference (EWPC) in February 2025, winning the bid from the event’s 2024 destination – Bodrum, Turkey. The event is the world’s largest conference for wedding planners, and will welcome over 500 attendees from more than 80 countries, including over 35 speakers and 100 exhibitors.

EWPC began in 2016 when the wedding sector was still highly unorganised. At that time, it wasn’t officially recognised as a formal industry. The conference has grown hand-in-hand with the industry, offering a platform for professionals to collaborate within.

Over the years, the event has been held at many tourism boards worldwide. 2025 will mark the second time EWPC comes to Ras Al Khaimah.

The conference is coming to the emirate at an important moment, as the emirate’s tourism landscape is set to expand with many exciting developments, including the upcoming launch of Wynn Resorts in 2027.

CEO and founder of EWPC Rishikesh Shetty: “When we launched EWPC, our goal was to give structure and recognition to an unorganized sector. Hosting the 14th edition in Ras Al Khaimah not only reinforces our mission but celebrates the journey of the wedding industry itself.”
