Over a thousand delegates are expected to visit Western Australia in 2025 for Routes Asia, an aviation and tourism trade event. The event will take place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 25 – 27 March 2025, and has been secured by the Western Australian Government, through Tourism Western Australia, in partnership with Business Events Perth and Business Events Australia. Delegates are expected to include key leaders from airlines, airports, and tourism sectors across the globe to discuss new aviation connections. Carolyn Turnbull, managing director, Tourism WA, says: “Hosting Routes Asia 2025 is an amazing opportunity for WA as it allows us to build on our work to secure even more direct flight connections between Perth and nearby countries across Asia. “I look forward to welcoming aviation travel and trade leaders to our state and vibrant capital city in a little over 18 months.” Business Events Perth, CEO, Gareth Martin adds: “Hosting Routes Asia marks a significant milestone for WA and actively opens doors to increased global connectivity, advancing aviation access, business travel and leisure tourism opportunities.” Perth’s bid to host Routes Asia 2025 was aided by Tourism Australia’s Business Events Bid Fund Program.
