New York-based real estate investment developer RXR, has announced the opening of a new 50,000 sqft venue, Level Ten at The Starrett-Lehigh Building. The event venue and amenity floor features flexible conferencing and meeting spaces able to cater for up to 200 delegates, podcast and recording studios, and a 23,000sqft multi-level rooftop and restaurant – The Yacht Club, which also provides premium catering for events hosted at Level Ten.
The venue has a conference wing with five dedicated meeting spaces and dedicated event venues and every event is supported by a dedicated team and a suite of premium services, including turnkey AV capabilities and full-service catering. Level Ten’s interiors feature commissioned artworks, high-touch finishes, and professional-grade AV and recording equipment, all arranged along the window line to maximise natural light and views.
Level Ten also introduces a new dedicated entrance on 12th Avenue, making The Yacht Club accessible to the public while maintaining access to the building exclusively for tenants. The Yacht Club, which was named the “restaurant of the summer” by The New York Post, offers a 120-person indoor-outdoor dining room with views of the Hudson River.
“Level Ten represents RXR’s continued commitment to enhancing and futureproofing our portfolio for both tenants and the broader community. With its opening, we’re fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment within Starrett-Lehigh – a building already celebrated for its distinguished roster of creative tenants. The feedback from our tenants has been incredible, and they are demonstrating that sentiment by their significant use of all the offerings. We look forward to welcoming tenants and guests to Level Ten, a new chapter for this iconic property,” said William Elder, executive vice-president and managing director, New York City Division, RXR.
Meeting rooms are available à la carte or as part of a full venue buyout. Level Ten’s annex venues also offer raw spaces spanning 40,000 to 70,000sqft able to accommodate 1,200 guests. The spaces are good for large-scale productions and immersive experiences for trade shows, conferences, galas, and experiential events. Previously hosted events include Shoppe Object, NADA, and Affordable Art Fair.
The Starrett-Lehigh Building is a landmark Manhattan building encompassing a full city block between 11th and 12th Avenues and 26th and 27th Streets, with 2.3m sqft of office and retail space.
