Silesia Convention Bureau has become a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). The bureau in southern Poland is a product consortium that brings together entities working for the development of business tourism in the region. “Being a member of ICCA, we count on expanding business contacts, acquiring knowledge and international co-operation,” said Agnieszka Sikorska, director of the Silesia Convention Bureau. The SCB becomes the ninth Polish convention bureau to become a member of ICCA and, in sum, there are a total of 18 entities from Poland that hold ICCA membership. Joining ICCA marks a significant turning point for the Silesia Convention Bureau, and helps to position Poland as a top-tier destination for international conferences and congresses. “Through ICCA’s global network, we envision collaborations that will enhance the overall competitiveness and appeal of the Polish MICE market, attracting a diverse range of events and fostering economic growth in the region,” says Aneta Książek, head of Poland Convention Bureau.
