The company says the new feature addresses the frequently asked question of ‘Can I get a copy of the slides?’ by allowing planners to distribute presentation decks to their audience, with the uploading process taking a few seconds.
Slido claims attendees can view all slides, bookmark their favourites and download an entire presentation to their preferred device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop.
Beginning in beta last year, Slido says it has tested and refined the feature by implementing it at hundreds of events and conferences. Now the feature is available to all new and current users and has been integrated with Slido’s core Q&A and polling features.
Organisers can send the Slido link via email for delegates to find presentations and access content and ideas before, during and after the event. Moreover, a Slido page can be embedded in the event website page so that the slides are also available to online viewers.
Slido CEO Peter Komornik (pictured) says: “We are really excited to officially launch our new product. We have been thrilled with the response to the private beta testing phase, as we always wanted to find a simple solution that would enable a greater interaction with speakers and their content.
“With our recent expansion to the US, it seems there could not be a better location to launch our newest product than IMEX America and we are really excited to see the response it gets from delegates.”
Slides is compatible with most presentation file formats and is automatically converted to PDF for secure file sharing.
