ASIA – The second SMX Convention Center Davao in the Philippines has opened its doors and a number of organisations have already booked events at the Center, according to Director of Sales at the SMC Convention Center, Charry Casabar.
Upcoming events include, the 4th Davao Trade Expo next month, and the Investment Conference on 14-17 November. Next year the Center will host the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Anniversary in January, and Meeting, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (Miceon), one of the biggest events, on 6-9 March 2013.
SMX Convention Center Davao is located on the third floor of the SM Lanang Premier Mall in Davao City. It has 728sqm of space available and can accommodate 5,000 delegates in theatre seating. SMX has three function rooms on offer with flexible walls and an additional total floor space of 440sqm.
Vice-President and General Manager of the Center said the third SMX Convention Center will be opening in the first quarter of next year in The Aura of the SM City Taguig.
