EUROPE – Full service global event management company, Universal WorldEvents, has appointed Stuart Brown as Head of Production within its centralised Sales and Marketing Department.
Brown is experienced in the delivery of a range of events from investigator meetings for pharmaceutical clients to large product launches for blue chip companies. Previously Co-Owner of audiovisual facilities company Backstage Events, he sold his share in that business and then set up a consultancy where he regularly worked with Universal WorldEvents on full service events.
Brown’s role within the agency will be the management and delivery of the in-house production services. He will be responsible for client pitches and proposals when there is a production requirement and the production delivery of successful events. He will also be responsible for managing the relationships between Universal WorldEvents and their network of preferred AV equipment suppliers.
“In addition to having an extensive knowledge of the production industry, and the key suppliers and operators within it on an international basis, Stuart knows the Pharma industry very well,” says Universal WorldEvents’ Sales and Marketing Director, Mark Saxby. “This is a new role we have created to recognise the increasing incidences of full service events with a heavy production requirement.”
Universal WorldEvents specialises in healthcare sector events with 250 employees located in offices across Europe, the US and Asia.
