Netherlands-based Conferli, the conference match-making platform for organisers launched in 2020, has announced a new product addition, the result of co-operation with the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB). The organisations say they joined forces to find a solution that would help streamline the process of matching association events with countries. The Conferli addition offers PCOs the opportunity to make a destination choice on data-driven benchmarking. Local hosts or national associations can also use the tool to find a suitable destination within their own country. “With the new launch of country comparison and benchmarking we give organisers the possibility to first get matched on country level… associations will be able to see quarantine rules per country in one overview, next to sustainability measurements, country support and ecosystems,” explains Ms. Nienke van der Malen, founder and CEO of Conferli. “At Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB) we are excited to see a year-round representation and fact-based benchmarking. With ecosystems, legacy and sustainability becoming more important it is great that we were able to collaborate with Conferli and launch this matching and benchmarking option. We appreciate the fact that we can position our country in line with the most important industry standards,” says Lisette van Dolderen, key account manager SCIB.
