At IBTM World, TCEB (Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau) announced a fresh campaign for 2026. For the coming year, the country’s event ecosystem will be promoting wellness – not just spas and massages, but experiences that give delegates a feeling of peace of mind that stays with them beyond the event. The campaign is called “Meet Well in Thailand”.
The scheme will run across Thailand in 2026. It brings together 14 city destinations, 40 five-star hotels, four wellness establishments, four major shopping malls and more – to offer planners new deals and added event options across the country.
The campaign includes wellness programmes, hotels, dining, off-site venues, transport, shopping, workshops and local cultural experiences. It also features low-carbon activities. TCEB says the offer is the widest package of privileges it has coordinated.
Deals range from up to 20% off wellness programmes to 40–80% shopping discounts, plus group incentives such as special rates for every 15 rooms booked.
TCEB president Mrs Supawan Teerarat said: “The ‘Meet Well in Thailand’ campaign reflects how far our MICE ecosystem has evolved.” She continued: “The initiative strengthens the positioning of Thailand, showcasing our world-class products … It empowers planners to deliver outcomes that go far beyond a successful business event.”
TCEB says the campaign aligns with a wider push to build a more connected national MICE ecosystem. It comes ahead of several flagship events in 2026 that will take place in Bangkok and regional cities.
These include the Global Sustainable Tourism Conference, the Global Wellness Summit, World and InterPride’s 2026 General Meeting & World Conference in Phuket, the Spartan SUPER World Championship in Chiang Rai and Tough Mudder in Pattaya.
“This is the opportunity for those attending global events in cities across Thailand to maximise privileges under the campaign. For planners, Thailand now has a solid foundation of more capable cities for future events,” said Mrs Supawan.
