AMERICAS – Conference and trade show for the live entertainment and ticketing industry, Ticket Summit, has won a 2012 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development.
The award was given in recognition of the website that previewed the 2012 summer conference, which was held 11-13 July at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
The website provided information about the conference including the schedule, speaker profiles and information for exhibitors and sponsors, as well as suggesting things to see and do in Vegas on its ‘Explore page’.
“We are honoured to have our website receive a WebAward,” said Executive Director, Ticket Summit, Molly Mérez. “Relevant and informative content, as well as innovative design, are integral components of a comprehensive conference website.”
The WebAwards are presented annually by the Web Marketing Association and recognise excellence in 96 categories, ranging from advertising and arts to business and technology. Other 2012 winners include the BBC College of Journalism, Cinncinati.com, and the ESPN Career website.
