North American-based MICE and group travel specialist agency TPI Global has joined Kuoni Tumlare (KT) Group from JTB Americas. TPI Global was founded in 1998 as part of JTB Americas group and will begin its handover to the KT Group 1 April, with the transition continuing through the end of the year.
KT Group remains a key subsidiary under the flagship of JTB Corporation. The strategic move is designed to bolster Kuoni Tumlare’s position in North America and KT Group vice-president Americas & Europe said: “This transition is a natural step in integrating TPI Global’s expertise with the resources and vision of Kuoni Tumlare.
By rebranding as Kuoni Tumlare Canada and Kuoni Tumlare USA, we’re not only strengthening our North American presence but also positioning ourselves as leaders in destination management in Canada and the United States.” There will be a merging of TPI’s DMC capabilities with KT’s brand and sales network.
As a sister company of JTB Americas, Kuoni Tumlare will also continue to expand their collaboration with JTB Americas to further enhance their commercial capabilities together. KT Group has built up a wide portfolio of products and solutions with 100+ years of destination management experience.
Solutions include series tours, technical visits, educational tours and Japan specialist travel consulting, as well as meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
