Toscana Promozione Turistica and Destination Florence CVB have launched the new brand Tuscany MICE. Alberto Peruzzini, the director of Toscana Promozione Turistica said: “MICE tourism has a value of over €993m (US$1.16bn) and it represents the most developed market for business tourism. We are working to create a business unit dedicated to MICE tourism in Tuscany,” added Peruzzini. “Tuscany has 284 venues for conferences, events, incentives and product launches, of which three congress centres, 36 other locations and 199 conference hotels,” said Carlotta Ferrari, director of Destination Florence CVB, adding that they will support the destination with the new brand.
