The US Society of Government Meeting Professionals recently celebrated its distinguished award winners, the Sam Gilmer Planner of the Year and Sam Gilmer Supplier of the Year.
These winners along with President’s Award winners were honoured at SGMP’s conference in Detroit, Michigan.
Recognised as the government meeting planning industry’s highest distinction, the Sam Gilmer Awards celebrate excellence in government meeting planning and the advancement of education and professionalism across the industry.
Chele Clark accepted the Sam Gilmer Planner of the Year Award from last year’s winner Michelle Milligan.
Bobbi Barkley received the Sam Gilmer Supplier of the Year Award from last year’s winner Mark Richardson.
Michelle Fink, CGMP, received the President’s Award from SGMP National President Michelle Milligan.
Tecumseh Deloney received the President’s Award from SGMP National President Michelle Milligan.
The SGMP was founded in 1981 and is the only national organisation in the United States dedicated exclusively to individuals who plan and execute government meetings. It has 2,000 members in 20 chapters across the country. More information: www.sgmp.org
