AIME, the premier event in the Australasian business events industry, is gearing up for its 2024 edition with exciting expansions and novel features. Here we explore the latest updates that are set to make AIME 2024 an unmissable experience.

Expanded Showfloor and New Zones

AIME 2024 is set to make a grand statement with an expanded showfloor at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Two additional bays will provide a larger canvas for the event, allowing the introduction of innovative zones. Among these, ‘The Boutique’ will spotlight operators who craft boutique experiences, featuring independently owned wineries, design-led luxury venues, and other bespoke offerings. Another groundbreaking addition is the dedicated zone for Destination Management Companies (DMCs), known as the DMC Network. This zone will bring together on-the-ground teams worldwide, poised to curate tailor-made experiences for conferences, incentives, and events in their respective regions.

Enhanced Networking Opportunities

AIME 2024 recognises the importance of impromptu meetings in fostering connections. To facilitate more networking opportunities, dedicated spaces on the showfloor have been curated, ensuring a dynamic environment for attendees across the three event days.

Visitor Registration Opens

Starting Monday, 13 November 2023, AIME welcomes visitors to register for the event. Over three dynamic days, AIME offers a platform for connecting vetted buyers with over 400 exhibitors worldwide. Attendees can explore offerings from Australian venues, international destinations, and boutique event and tech suppliers.

Ideas Academy Presented by Spice Magazine

The Ideas Academy, held concurrently with the AIME trade show, provides an intimate space for thought-provoking panel discussions and sessions. In a first for 2024, Spice Magazine will present the Ideas Academy, delivering informative content silently through individual headphones. These sessions, occurring on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 February, are free for all attendees, with no booking required.
