GES, a full service supplier to the live events industry, has appointed Matt Coyne as technology engagement architect for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region with immediate effect. In his new role, Coyne is charged with promoting and developing the company’s extensive technology portfolio whilst bringing together the powerful data assets to deliver greater insight into visitor and exhibitor engagement. On his appointment, Coyne said: “It is an exciting time in the event tech space and GES couldn’t be better placed to combine its data sets into one suite of event intelligence. We can use this insight and knowledge to help improve event interactions and drive visitor, exhibitor, sponsor and organiser engagement on any event, anywhere in the world.” Jason Popp, executive vice president of international, said: “Our clients rely on us to offer unrivalled insight and intelligence. This is a great opportunity for both GES and our clients to truly understand the interactions at their events. Matt is well-placed to champion what can be achieved by combining our offerings.”
