More than 700 clients, partners and journalists gathered on 13 January at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco for a review of 2025 and to hear about the strong prospects for 2026.
The year marked the venue’s 25th anniversary and the completion of its major building extension as part of the Mareterra project, adding 6,000 m² of indoor and 2,000 m² of outdoor space. The expansion helped deliver record results, with €28 million in revenue – up 17% on 2024 – and nearly 100 events hosted across the year. The extension achieved a one-third occupancy rate in its first year.
Cultural highlights included Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou, which attracted 76,500 visitors, ranking among the top three most successful exhibitions ever held at the venue. On the business events side, several major gatherings drew record attendance, including AMWC, which welcomed 17,000 participants.
General manager Sylvie Biancheri described 2025 as “a major turning point” for the Grimaldi Forum, noting increased international appeal and client confidence as the venue moves into its next phase of growth.
In 2025, the Grimaldi Forum renewed its ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications and continued to expand its CSR initiatives, redistributing 26 tonnes of materials, including 1.3 tonnes of food donations, and dedicating a solidarity day per employee to local non-profits. The venue received the Government of Monaco’s 2025 Handipact Award for its inclusive practices.
Momentum continues into 2026, with commercial targets already met and a strong calendar of events confirmed, including the Michelin Guide Ceremony, the Conference of Sports Ministers, La Vuelta, and the second edition of the Forbes Travel Guide Summit. The Grimaldi Forum’s cultural programme will feature Colours! at the Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing and a new summer exhibition, Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present Day, running from 1 July to 6 September.
CMB Monaco renewed its patronage agreement with the Grimaldi Forum on 13 January 2026 for the 21st consecutive year, reinforcing a partnership that supports both business and cultural events and includes a socially focused summer project.
