Travel data and analytics company Cirium has revealed Russian airline Aeroflot as the world’s most on-time airline. The Cirium analysis showed 86.7% of Aeroflot’s flights operated on time in 2019. Cirium’s On-Time Performance (OTP) Review 2019 awarded All Nippon Airways (ANA) as runners-up with 86.3% of its flights on time. Last year’s winner, Delta Air Lines, took third place with 85.7% of its flights arriving on time. The Russians also scooped the most on-time airport accolade, with Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International (SVO) topping the Cirium survey with 95% of flights being on time. The OTP Review, released 2 January 2020, attempted to identify the world’s best performing airlines and airports for on-time flight operations in 2019.
