AIM Group International publishes its first sustainability report

Global conferencing and events management specialists AIM Group International has published its first Sustainability Report for 2023, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The report is the product of a comprehensive analysis, identifying the key stakeholder categories and the most relevant sustainability issues affecting the Group. The process has resulted in the organisation creating sustainable and shared value with its stakeholders, both internal and external. “We recognise that the path to sustainability is an ongoing journey,” said Patrizia Semprebene Buongiorno (pictured), vice-president of AIM Group International. “This report serves as a reference tool for our future goals: to continue to seek synergies and opportunities to improve sustainability throughout the supply chain, working closely with our clients, and involving them in this commitment.” The report outlines key achievements including:

  • Obtaining the ISO 20121 Certification for Sustainable Event Management:
  • Implementing the 4Rs Principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover):
  • Integrating Sustainability into Corporate Strategy
  • Managing Events with Integrity and Transparency

Future goals set include seeking further synergies and opportunities by continuing to improve sustainability throughout the supply chain and maintaining the ISO 20121 Certification. Another goal ist o raise awareness by educating event participants about environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
