Global PCO and DMC, AIM Group International, has opened an office in Hamburg, Germany. The expansion is part of a new strategic co-operation with Live2communication, an AIM Group Affiliate Partner. Live2communication, a Munich-based company, became an AIM Group International Affiliate Partner in March 2015. AIM Group International had also begun a collaboration with QT/The Event Studio, an agency in Berlin. AIM Group International’s entry into the German market is a strategic move and has identified Hamburg as one of the strongest cities economically. Gianluca Buongiorno, president of AIM Group International said: “The opening of a new office in Hamburg is a very salient moment for the Group and for our international expansion.” Hamburg and Munich GM Martin Elingshausen added: “Hamburg is increasingly becoming a top level destination for the meetings industry. The city offers exceptional venues for every type of meeting you can plan and, according to a research by the Hamburg Convention Bureau, the accommodation capacity has increased to 58,541 beds over the past years. “Our presence in such a dynamic market, historically called The Gateway to the World, represents a new and exciting challenge. We are committed to expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients and to focus on this beautiful city as an important destination.
