The 2025 Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) is projected to generate AUD $400 million in business transactions between exhibitors and buyers over the next 12 months, according to independent post-show analysis. The event was held from 10–12 February at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The figure marks a 21% increase on the 2024 event, making AIME 2025 the largest edition in its history, with over 675 exhibiting organisations, 640 hosted buyers and more than 4,500 attendees.
AIME 2025 was also the largest event to date delivered by Talk2 Media & Events, which has run AIME on behalf of the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) since 2019. As a result, Talk2 has been reappointed to manage the show through to AIME 2028.
Talk2 CEO Matt Pearce stated: “AIME 2025 surpassed all expectations.”
Event director Silke Calder stated that the record-breaking AIME 2025 had solidified its position as the premier event for the business events community in Asia Pacific. “After the biggest event our team has produced, we’re thrilled to see the success of the show translate into such incredible business outcomes for our exhibitors, buyers and visitors,” she said.
AIME 2026 is confirmed to return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9–11 February 2026.
