Melbourne-based industry tradeshow AIME has announced the launch of its new AIMEbassador programme for its 2021 event.
The role of an AIMEbassador, organisers say, will be to unite communities in coming together to help kick-start business in 2021 and beyond. Sharing their insights and expertise with the AIME community, the idea is that they can spark inspiration, creativity and get people talking.
To find out more, follow AIME’s LinkedIn for the latest announcements, including Q&As and profiles on the ambassadors.
AIME will next be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 15-17 March 2021, as well virtually through AIME Online from 15-26 March, making it a truly hybrid experience.
Melbourne, meanwhile, welcomed its first international passenger flight since June on 7 December.
The country closed its borders to non-residents in March, and although repatriation flights continued for a few months, coronavirus outbreaks at two hotels where passengers were quarantined brought even those to a halt.
The arrivals from Sri Lanka on Monday are obliged to remain in their hotel rooms during a 14-day quarantine period.
The news comes as almost all of the Australia’s internal borders are now reopened for inter-state travel.
