Planning for Australasia’s flagship meetings industry gathering, AIME 2024, is well under way with organisers saying they expect to host 500 buyers from around the world, 3,500 visitor buyers and up to 400 exhibitors at the Melbourne show. The event will offer attendees three days of opportunities to connect with the global business events community, find inspiration and, importantly, do business. Senior event professionals are invited to apply for AIME’s 2024 Hosted Buyer Programme which, for successful applicants, will include complimentary return economy flights to Melbourne, group transfers, luxury accommodation, meals and exclusive invitations to VIP networking events and MCB’s Uncover Melbourne Experience. In return, hosted buyers commit to attending a minimum number of pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors across the two-day trade show. Australian and New Zealand based event professionals who apply for the 2024 Hosted Buyer Programme before 31 October 2023 and are accepted, can win an incredible Canadian experience. The prize supported by Club Med and Air Canada includes return flights, seven nights’ accommodation at Club Med Quebec Charlevoix with all meals, drinks, entertainment and activities, including ski lift passes and lessons. AIME 2023 is up for Best Exhibition or Trade Show, as well as Best Achievement in Marketing or Communication in conjunction with its agency littleBIG Marketing.
