The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has announced the theme for its 2026 Knowledge Monday programme: ‘Expertise Matters!’, alongside the updated Advisory Committee guiding its development. Taking place on Monday 9 February 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), Knowledge Monday will open AIME with a focus on the credibility, clarity, and strategic value of the business events industry.
The theme celebrates professionals who bring deep expertise – those who anticipate challenges, navigate complexity, and unite people with purpose. Following the success of 2025’s ‘We Matter!’, which centred on self-leadership, the new theme continues the conversation by highlighting the role of industry knowledge in driving innovation and impact.
Curated by El Kwang, founder of BEAMexperience, the programme will feature keynote speakers, thought leaders, and innovators, inspiring over 1,500 global event professionals. “In the age of AI, being deeply human – and deeply expert – has never been more relevant,” said Kwang. “It’s not just what we know, but how we apply and express that knowledge that sets our industry apart.”
The Knowledge Monday Advisory Committee ensures the programme is engaging and representative of the sector.
