Airmeet relaunches virtual event

Bengalaru-based virtual events platform Airmeet will relaunch its virtual conference, Engage Virtual, to take place 1 and 7 July 2021.

The 2019 start up by IIT alumni raised US$12m in a November 2020 funding round led by Sequoia Capital and Redpoint Ventures.

The Engage Virtual event is free to register and will feature speakers, including: Mike Butcher, editor at large at TechCrunch; Elizabeth Irving, senior vice-president, marketing Clarion Events; Martin Fullard, editorial director at Mash Media’ Matt Swenson, editorial director, TSNN and Kathryn Frankson, director of event marketing at Informa.

Jack Geddes, founder of EVNTech now Engage Virtual said: “This year, the event is set to be bigger and better. After hosting our first successful event last year which saw 18 industry leaders sharing insights with over 1,300 attendees, this year we have over 20 renowned names joining us and are expecting a larger turnout.

“With sessions and line-ups never seen before; I think it’s an exciting programme and we are looking forward to welcoming all our participants.”
