Twenty-five global association representatives attended the inaugural World Science Festival Brisbane in Queensland this month.
The science and arts event was staged outside of New York for the first time to huge acclaim, and Brisbane will be the Asia Pacific headquarters for the festival for the next five years.
Brisbane Convention Bureau general manager Rob Nelson said the association representatives from 10 countries, including hosts Australia, were familiarised with the city’s innovative business events providers and experiences.
