Event management company ATPI Sports Events has announced the appointment of Niels Grevenstuk (pictured) as its new commercial head of global sports business. Grevenstuk joins ATPI with experience in the sports and events sector, having previously worked for AFC Ajax as head of international brand partnerships, and formerly as global sponsorship manager at Heineken International. With Heineken International, Grevenstuk collaborated with ATPI on several projects, including the activation of the UEFA Champions League and the organisation of the Holland Heineken House in Sochi and Rio de Janeiro during the respective Winter and Summer Olympics. Grevenstuk stated: “ATPI is a wonderful company with a great customer portfolio and a rich history when it comes to organising and facilitating major sporting events.
