Australia’s largest ever incentive for Amway China will generate $100m

The largest incentive event ever held in Australia is now underway. 16,000 delegates from Amway China will come to Melbourne to celebrate company’s 30th anniversary, generating a total of $100m in economic impact throughout April.

The first wave of Amway China’s Leadership Seminar delegates has arrived in Melbourne. Delegates will visit the city in six waves. Each group will stay for five days of business seminars, touring experiences and a gala dinner at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

Melbourne secured the event in 2022 The Melbourne Convention Bureau secured the event in 2022, competing against other Australian and international destinations. The incentive group is also the largest outbound incentive programme ever from China and is estimated to generate $100m in economic impact.

Delegates are staying across eight hotels in Melbourne, contributing around 32,000 hotel room nights. Attendees will dine at 50 restaurants across Melbourne and Victoria and visit 20 regional attractions, including Sovereign Hill, the Twelve Apostles, Healesville Sanctuary, Puffing Billy and the National Gallery of Victoria.
