UK-based travel management company BCD Travel has announced a strategic partnership with SkyLink, an interactive AI-based corporate travel assistant.
This technology offers an autonomous chat-based booking experience that improves productivity for travelers, travel arrangers and agents while driving program compliance and cost savings for customers.
SkyLink leverages a suite of leading AI technologies to deliver personalised, policy-compliant recommendations through a chat-based experience. This technology securely integrates directly into customers’ existing enterprise chat channels, such as Microsoft Teams and Slack. Travellers can instantly engage with the SkyLink application 24/7 to shop and complete reservations, modify or cancel existing reservations or find answers to important travel related questions.
“We are addressing traveler demand for efficiency and speed, while also driving cost savings and compliance for customers,” said Yannis Karmis, BCD’s senior vice president of Product Planning & Development. “SkyLink’s integration with our open platform creates a market leading engagement capability with travelers. Our partnership reinforces BCD’s commitment to offering flexible, innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers’ program.”
Atyab Bhatti, co-founder and CEO at SkyLink, said: “We’re proud to partner with BCD Travel, a global leader in digital travel technology and service. By integrating BCD’s capabilities, we can seamlessly deploy into global travel programs. Together, we’re redefining the corporate traveler experience through modernization and collaboration, bringing best of breed technology to everyone.”
