This Global Meetings Industry Day, 14 April, our industry recognises all eventprofs and individuals who make up our worldwide meetings community. Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) was created to be an international forum for advocacy, awareness and celebration for the meetings and events industry. Each year, event professionals from around the world come together to raise the collective voice of our community. This year, in 2020, as we face the challenge of Covid-19, #GMIDGoesVirtual as eventprofs attempt to make history with a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. The timings for the attempted virtual gathering of 15,000+ eventprofs for at least 30 minutes are: 9 AM PDT | 12 PM EDT | 5 PM UK TIME | 6 PM CET | 9:30 PM IST | 12 AM CMT | 2 AM ACT. The virtual meeting room will be open 30 minutes prior to the start and you must have registered by the start to be included in the numbers for the record attempt. Do not leave the meeting until the hosts indicate that we have reached the 30-minute mark. Be a part of the attempt at the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the ‘Largest Audience For a Virtual Conference’: Register and Share www.gmidgoesvirtual.com #GMID20
