BestCities Global Alliance has announced that it will take its 2025 Global Forum to Dublin, Ireland. The destination alliance’s flagship event will open in the Irish capital on 24 January. The three-day forum, to be held under the theme ‘Creative Collaborations: Innovating for Greater Communities’, will discuss ways in which creative connections can ignite innovation, foster inclusivity, and transform global issues into community-driven solutions. Organisers say that attendees will have the opportunity to explore the local community, engage in networking events hosted at iconic buildings such as the Guinness Storehouse, and collaborate with other alliance partners and international associations. The forum is open to international associations, association management companies, agencies, corporate meeting planners, PCOs, and invited guests. The forum is partnering with Trees4Events. Loren Christie, MD of the 13-member BestCities Global Alliance, said: “We’re fine-tuning an education-rich programme with thought-provoking workshops, valuable networking opportunities, and collaborations with local community-building organisations like the Gaelic Athletics Association and Gaelic Players Association. Everything ties back to our community-focused theme, with a goal of cultivating connections that lead to positive, meaningful and lasting change within the meetings industry.” “Welcoming the BestCities Global Forum to Dublin will be a proud moment for us as a bureau and for our industry partners”, said Sam Johnston, manager, Dublin Convention Bureau. Hospitality is in our DNA, so to have the privilege to welcome so many international associations alongside our BestCities colleagues will be a great way to kick off 2025. We are excited to showcase so many elements of our city, from venues to our famous culture, music and sports. For more information on BestCities Global Alliance, visit bestcities.net.
