The Playford Hotel in Adelaide, Australia has announced it has introduced a new butler service to combat Covid-19 restrictions.
Faced with restrictions on ‘in-room’ items due to Covid-19 guidelines, the Playford management has devised a new experience whereby, on checking in, guests will be provided with their own butler service to deliver room items. In a service usually reserved for those in penthouses, ‘By Jeeves’ will see all rooms at the Playford M Gallery by Sofitel have their requests fulfilled by a butler. Playford Hotel general manager, Maurits de Graeff, said: “Covid-19 regulations that we are required to follow gave us the opportunity to have a think about how to turn a staycation at The Playford into a fun positive experience and we felt a little five-star butler service is just what we all need in our lives right now.”
