CCMG on course for inaugural Nordic MICE Summit in Malmö

Organisers CCMG will bring the first edition of The Nordic MICE Summit to Sweden, 1-3 November. The venue will be the Clarion Hotel & Congress, Malmö Live. CCMG CEO Lonni Gulliksen tells CMW: “We have decided to launch this event as there isn’t anything like this on the Nordic Markets at the present time. With the feedback we have got and support from the likes of Wonderful Copenhagen and Malmö Convention Bureau, the big hotel chains and CBV’s, we think we have hit the spot. “At this point we have confirmed 47 suppliers and more or less the same number of hosted buyers (there is a pre-tour to Skåne and post-tour to the Copenhagen area). With still approximately 2.5 months to the event, we expect some more participants both on the suppliers and the buyers side.” Suppliers expected to attend include Nordic & European hotels, convention bureaus and destination management companies. Organisers say exhibitors from destinations including Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, France, Portugal, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Ireland and UK have signed up.
