Claire Steele has joined Conventions & Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) as the new Exhibition Manager of the country’s largest business tourism trade exhibition (MEETINGS).
She takes over from Kate Drury, who has left to pursue a new career outside of the sector after two years with MEETINGS.
Steele is originally from the UK, and has been in New Zealand for nine years holding various roles in the hospitality and training sector here. CINZ Chief Executive, Sue Sullivan said Steele would also be assisting with a range of other projects throughout the year.
“We can’t wait to have Claire join us as we hit the ground running with MEETINGS. We’re experiencing high demand from exhibitors, with over half the stands already sold,” she said.
Organisers are expecting 220 hosted buyers for the show, which takes place 28-30 May in Auckland at the ABS Showgrounds. Exhibitors can register online, with bookings closing on 15 March.
