CINZ to host New Zealand business showcase

Conventions & Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) has announced that it will be hosting BE Reconnected, a one-day business events industry showcase.

The event aims to be “a day of networking, knowledge and engagement”, and will take place on 1 December. Partners of the BE Reconnected include Auckland Conventions Venues and Events and Peek Exhibition.

CINZ chief executive, Lisa Hopkins, said: “Anyone responsible for organising business events, or for those who want to find out more about business events, should save the date for 1 December and join us at Te Pokapū Aotea Centre.

“Guests can expect to experience a day of connecting with and learning from the experts. There will be no prescheduled appointments. Instead the day will be about getting together again, with plenty of time to network, connect over great food, hear from some fascinating speakers and finish with a relaxed meet-up.

“Our speaker line-up will feature a diverse range of keynote speakers ready to educate and inspire, and all available for future events.

“We are inviting event organisers from across the country to join us and New Zealand‘s leading industry providers to show we are stronger, more passionate and more committed than ever to providing the very best in business events services.”

Prior to BE Reconnected, on November 30, the Auckland Convention Bureau is also planning an afternoon and evening familiarisation tour of Auckland for business event organisers looking to find out first-hand about the range of options for functions and activities across the city.

Hopkins continued: “As a key economic driver for our country, business events are vital for recovery. It is our  responsibility to plan and prepare for the recovery, for the sake of our clients, employees, community, regions and the industry. BE Reconnected will ensure we end the year with a firm eye on the future.”
