WORLD – Claus Meyer (pictured), the internationally renowned chef and entrepreneur, will deliver the Copenhagen Lecture at this year’s Buenos Aires edition of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Congress, 4 November. Co-founder of Noma restaurant, which has won the accolade of ‘Best Restaurant in the World’ for three years, Meyer has for 20 years challenged conventional thinking in agriculture, food production and cooking. He has inspired a generation to rediscover local Nordic produce through cookbooks, TV shows, lectures and food debates. The 54th ICCA Congress takes place in Buenos Aires, 1-4 November 2015. This year ICCA has tightened up the congress programme structure. Keeping the most important business, educational, and networking elements intact, the association is reducing the overall length of the event, removing the Sector education sessions from the Sunday and incorporating Sector interests and specialisations into the main Monday-Wednesday education programme instead. The first time attendee programme moves from Saturday 31 October afternoon to Sunday 1 November morning, while onsite registration starts Saturday 31 October, not Friday 30 October.
