Comexposium appoints new chief financial officer

Comexposium, the global events organiser, has announced the appointment of Pascale Besse as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) succeeding Severine Bersauter-Bastit.

Besse joins Comexposium from Lefebvre Sarrut, a European leader in the knowledge economy, where she was CFO for five years.

She is a graduate of HEC with extensive experience in finance, strategy, and development. Besse began her career as an auditor with Deloitte, she has worked in Investment banking and M&A at CACIB, and joined Wavestone to structure the financial department and support the M&A strategy. She was also responsible for developing the financial and legal departments of Up Group across Europe.

Renaud Hamaide, President of Comexposium, commented: “We are pleased to be welcoming Pascale to Comexposium. We have undergone significant growth in France and internationally over the last five years, and we have ambitious plans to continue our growth strategy. Pascale’s wide-ranging financial, strategic, and leadership experience make her the ideal choice to help us continue this momentum.”

During her 12 years with Comexposium, Bersauter-Bastit was instrumental in developing Comexposium into the strong global organiser it is today and in setting up the business for success. After a transition period, she will be leaving Comexposium at the end of August to pursue other interest.
