Day One of International Confex 2020 at ExCeL London saw a buzzing showfloor full of inspiration and the theatres packed with the latest industry conversations taking place. There is a big line-up still to come on Day Two, including: At 2pm the day’s must-attend at the Keynote Theatre features an exclusive interview with Figen Murray, mother of Martyn Hett, who was killed along with 21 others in the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. Since Martyn’s death, she has been campaigning for ‘Martyn’s Law‘ which would see increased security at events and venues. At 11.40 in the same Keynote Theatre there will be a Secret Cinema session with Fabien Riggall, pioneer of the immersive cinema format, Fabien will discuss why immersive is so compelling, why it creates a sense of unity and how the principles apply to the broader events industry. Attendees will also receive a 25% discount to Dirty Dancing at Secret Cinema. And over in the Marcomms Theatre a special day-long session for event marketers will cover everything from Gamification to Influencer Marketing and PR!
