Barbados’ leading B2B tourism event, Connect Barbados, will return from 23-26 June 2025 for the first time since 2019. The event will be held at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Resort, Sam Lord’s Castle.
Connect Barbados will bring top travel buyers to Barbados for business meetings with local suppliers. It will also mark the return of the Connect Barbados Awards, recognising the media and trade partners who’ve helped raise the island’s global profile.
The event will be hosted by Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI). This year, it will also feature the return of the Connect Barbados Awards, recognising key trade and media partners for their role in promoting the destination globally.
“The return of Connect Barbados marks a pivotal milestone for our island and for the global travel community that continues to stand with us,” said BTMI CEO Andrea Franklin. “It is through these collaborations that we drive growth, create new business opportunities, and strengthen Barbados’ position in the global tourism marketplace.”
Themed ‘From Street to Chic: A Culinary Journey Awaits’, the 2025 edition will focus on Barbados’ food culture (from roadside rum shops to high-end dining) as a key selling point for travel professionals.
